Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CartoCraft ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and CartoCraft ("we," "our," or "us").

Description of Service

CartoCraft is a map poster creation application that allows you to:

• Create custom map posters with various themes, frames, and styles
• Customize map views with different zoom levels, perspectives, and overlays
• Export your creations as high-resolution images
• Organize posters into collections
• Display posters as home screen widgets
• View posters in augmented reality (AR)

User Accounts & Eligibility

CartoCraft does not require account registration. The App is available to anyone with a compatible Apple device.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Subscriptions & Purchases

CartoCraft offers both free and premium features:

• Free Tier: Limited access to themes, maps, exports, and layouts
• CartoCraft Pro: Full access to all themes, unlimited maps, 4K exports, AR placement, advanced text customization, collections, and all current and future premium features

Subscription Terms:

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Lifetime purchases grant permanent access with a one-time payment
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Intellectual Property

App Content: The CartoCraft app, including its design, code, icons, and branding, is the intellectual property of CartoCraft and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the map posters you create using CartoCraft. You are free to use, share, and distribute your exported poster images as you wish.

Map Data: Map data displayed within the App is provided by third-party mapping services and is subject to their respective terms and licenses (including OpenStreetMap's ODbL license).

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or premium feature locks
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Redistribute or resell the App itself
• Remove or alter any copyright notices or branding within the App

Disclaimer of Warranties

CartoCraft is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy or completeness of map data displayed in the App
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
• The availability of third-party mapping services
• The suitability of the App for any particular purpose

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CartoCraft and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Active subscriptions should be canceled through your Apple ID settings to prevent further charges.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
